ASICS Men’s GEL-Nimbus 12 Running Shoe
I run alot on concrete and trails, and this pair of shoes is great for any use. It is very comfortable to run in and it has great support. And Asics are very well made shoes; you don’t have to worry about them falling apart on you.
Although I am not a serious runner, I do run occasionally. I remembered one time I ran about 4 miles with old running sneakers and woke up the next morning with the worst foot pain that I have ever felt…Arch pain on my right foot! I was limping with extreme pain for two and a half weeks. I realized that my heel was pounding on the ground most of the time I was running, and that I probably needed cushioning (or perhaps my running technique is bad, please feel free to give me any advice). While looking for a good pair of running Black Friday Shoes, I came across the ASICS Gel-Nimbus 12. I have done quite some research and decided this was the shoe for me. On the first day I received my shoes, I took them out for a 3 mile run. Wow! They felt like no other shoe that I have worn before. It was light and I actually felt the elevated cushioning under my heels and archs. I woke up the next morning hoping to not feel that same horrible pain I did, and it turned out that my legs were just a bit sore from running. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who experiences heel/arch pain. I’d say the White/Lightning/Lime color line looks the best and Amazon offers the best price for this! Hope this helps!
I was told by podiatrist that I have neutral feet so I have selected this shoe for running. I am a beginner runner and initially had lots of shin splits problems, since I changed my shoe to Nimbus 12 shin splints were reduced to minimum. The structure of the Shoe Black Friday also encourages proper feet movement and I believe that my foot is being guided to roll in properly. The lining inside the shoe appears to be very weak and shows signs of wear only after 3 runs, but this doesn’t mean there is something wrong with these shoes. Overall this shoe is very easy on your feet, no brake in time required and feels very light as well.
The delivery from Amazon.com seller was lightening fast and I received it from US to Australia in about 8 days even though I only selected “Expedited International Shipping”. Sizing and fit were consistent with Nimbus 13 sold in Australia
